The Children’s Ballet Theatre is a year-round Performing Arts School with open enrollment in all of its programs.

Tuition is payable in each term, with five terms throughout the year (four during the school year, and one term in the summer). We strongly encourage our students to stay consistently enrolled as this will provide your child with the best possible training available.

Dance Classes

For students 2-18 years old. Classes include Pre-ballet, Pre-Technique, Beginning – Advanced Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, Broadway Dance, Character Dance

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Tuition is due on a term basis with 5 terms throughout the year September – August. Four terms are during the school year and the fifth term is during the summer months.

Once you have scheduled and enrolled your child your tuition will be automatically renewed each term allowing you to not have to worry about re-enrolling and/or losing your perfect schedule.

Enrolled students are able to change class schedules if needed and are always given first priority.

For students who enroll in the middle of a term, tuition will be prorated for that current term.

Two weeks prior to a new term beginning you are always able to come in to the front desk, or call, and make any needed changes to your account.
This would include having to withdraw due to moving out of the area.

Unfortunately, term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.
Temporary hold requests due to serious injuries, illnesses or unforeseen circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to CBT.

We do not offer drop-in classes. We strongly believe in commitment and dedication and know that progress only comes from weekly attendance in class.

We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Simply complete a withdrawal form for the upcoming term. No further payments will be taken.

Please allow 14 days for your cancellation to be processed.

Tuition covers the normal operating costs of the studio for regular classes and activities that occur within class time. Performance fees are not included in tuition.

Housed in our building is our very own Black Box Theatre, allowing our students and parents to enjoy hassle free performances throughout the year.

CBT’s location is in the center of the Salt Lake Valley with quick access off of I-80. We are in a family friendly area with local businesses, parks and libraries.
